The MicroZone system combines the Komfort IQ smart occupancy sensor with motorized dampers in the ducts of each office.
When offices are unoccupied, the MicroZone system adjusts the temperature set-points to reduce unneeded heating and cooling of empty offices to save energy.
When offices are occupied, the MicroZone system adjusts the airflow to provide personal comfort, allowing the occupant to set their desired temperature, ending the thermostat wars.
The sensor also monitors the CO2 and VOC (volatile organic compounds) levels in each office and integrates with the BAS, BMS, or diffuser to maintain adequate levels of fresh air to ensure the health and safety of occupants.
